Given the dark nature of the end of Ryan Jimmo’s life, the family, friends, and fans of the UFC alumnus can begin coping with the loss. Two suspects have been arrested and now face murder charges according to the Edmonton Police Service.

The fighter died in the parking lot of an Edmonton lounge after suffering blunt force trauma following a hit-and-run incident Sunday night.

Anthony “Tony” Getschel, 23, has been charged with “second degree murder, criminal negligence causing death, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death, and fail to stop at scene of accident involving death,” the EPS announced. 21-year-old Jordan Wagner is currently considered an “accessory after the fact to murder” as well.

The incident was preceded by a verbal dispute.
